New on board the Boeing 777-300ER

KLM introduced its new World Business Class seat on board the Boeing 777-300ER this summer. The new "Jamco Venture" seat is the lightest business class seat on the market. It thus contributes to KLM's sustainability goals, as a reduction in weight goes hand in hand with a reduction in kerosene consumption and CO2 emissions.
These are the features of the next-generation World Business Class seat with suite character
- 1-2-1 configuration
- Sliding door
- Direct access to the corridor
- long bed
- Choice of multiple backrest positions, including an adjustable lower back support and a relaxation setting with a subtle back massage function
- Multiple charging sockets, including wireless charging
- lockable storage cabinet
- Recessed bottle holder to keep a drink safely on the table even in turbulence
The first destination with the new World Business Class seats is Shanghai. All Boeing 777-300ERs will be converted by January 2024, and the Boeing 777-200ER by summer 2024. At the same time, these aircraft will be equipped with KLM's latest travel class, Premium Comfort.
