From the 2023 winter flight schedule, ITA Airways will add the Brazilian coastal metropolis of Rio de Janeiro to its route network – in addition to the existing South America connections to Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. There are very good connections to Rio de Janeiro from Frankfurt and Munich via Rome. Operating between Rome and Rio, the Airbus A330-300 offers a three-class configuration with Business Class and Premium Economy Class for a comfortable journey.
Increase in frequencies from Munich and Frankfurt to Rome
With the start of the 2024 summer flight schedule, ITA Airways is increasing the frequencies between Munich and Frankfurt to Rome Fiumicino to two daily flights each. This will enable daily connections to South America as well as further seamless connections to the ITA Airways route network.
